How to Practice an Uppercut Punch on a Punching Bag

 

Every new boxer learns that a foundational move is an uppercut:  it’s a traditional move that many struggles with due to the rotation needed to pull it off. It’s particularly useful for boxing in close range, and it’s something you need to be able to pull out when faced with your opponent. Creating an opening in that position can be tricky, but that’s when you turn to the uppercut.
